In fact, if the exposed card of the dealer’s blackjack hand is 4, 5 or 6 then the dealer has a 40% chance of going bust so you can stay on any hand over 11 points. However, if the dealer’s exposed card is good such as 8, 9, 10 or a face card then you should hit on anything under 17 points.
