Understanding Perudo Bids

Perudo is largely a guessing game and Perudo bids are probably the most important element of it all. Perudo bids increase progressively until a player calls. The object of Perudo is to keep as many dice as possible. If you don’t make your bid and an opponent calls, you need to lose a Perudo dice. Perudo bids are made on how many dice of all players will reflect a particular number.

Essentially, Perudo bids can be made in three different ways: You can raise the number on the dice or you can raise the number of total dice, or you can raise both. There is no limit to how much you can raise bids and you are also not obliged to place Perudo bids on numbers that you have. This is where bluffing in Perudo comes in and it is a very important strategy to develop if you want to advance in the game.

Perudo bids are called if a player feels that the opponent’s bid is incorrect. If this happens, all the dice in the game are revealed. If the caller was correct, the opponent needs to lose a dice, although if the opponent had as many dice as he or she bid, the caller loses a dice. As mentioned, the player with only one Perudo dice left wins the game.
