When you play poker the game is played in rounds of betting in which cards are dealt and players choose to fold, bet or raise. Folding in poker means that you forfeit your turn and leave the game. You can also bet and place the minimum bet or raise the bet to a higher amount.
Some poker games are played with private cards and others are played with community cards. Private cards are held by each player and may not be viewed by the other players. Community cards are shared by all players. The game of Texas Holdem is played with two private cards and five community cards. Omaha is played with four private cards and five community cards. Five Card Draw is played with five private cards.
