Recommended Books for Advanced Backgammon Players

When we refer to tips for backgammon, we usually think of amateur players or those very new to the game. We don't think that advanced backgammon players are in need of help to improve their game. However, there are in fact many players who are excellent, yet are always on the lookout for extra tips and information to get even better at their game through backgammon books.

There are many books on the market that target advanced backgammon players. The most popular of them all is probably by backgammon champion, Peter Magriel's "Backgammon". Another two backgammon books that offer tips for top players are: "Backgammon - Learning to Win" by Lewis Deyong, and "Backgammon for Serious Players" by another champion, Bill Robertie.

Another book that definitely presents a challenge for advanced backgammon players is "The Backgammon Quiz Book" by Prince Jolie Kansil. The book is full of quizzes (over 100 in all) that offer advanced backgammon players the chance to consider their moves in different gaming scenarios.
