Why learn backgammon?

As with chess, or checkers, backgammon is a game of strategy. You must be thinking several moves ahead and be constantly outwitting your opponent. Unlike chess and checkers, there are dice involved which gives your wits an even greater challenge – it is not enough to have a strategy, in backgammon you must have six!
